Apples in a Bathrobe (Jabicka v Zupane)

Apples in a bathrobe is the literal translation of the dessert called jablcka v zupane in Slovakia. I imagine it apples in a bathrobe got its name because slices of apples are drenched in a batter and then fried, topped with cinnamon and sugar. It feels like a hug or a cuddle in a bite, like a bathrobe is on a cold winter day.
