Led by Executive Chef Alejandra Espinoza, it combines local ingredients, time-honored Ecuadorian recipes and globally-inspired cooking techniques to create such addictive and genre-defining dishes such as La Guaguasa (fermented yucca flatbread), gazpiche (smoked watermelon gazpacho-ceviche hybrid), cuy lettuce wraps, seco de pollo ramen and Ecuadorian paila-style ice creams. Located in Quito’s Bellavista neighborhood, Somos is a warm, eclectic dining experience, that prizes delicious food and human connection.
